Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, Inc. selected Erland, in collaboration with Pando Associates, to expand their operations in Stafford Springs by constructing a 35,047sf pre-engineered metal building warehouse addition adjacent to the northern side of their existing facility. Extensive sitework, including grading and installation of a stormwater infiltration system, was required to prepare for foundations. The new VNA racking facility tied seamlessly into the existing building and utilities and received its own separate fire service with a wet roof and in-rack sprinkler design. A new loading dock and truck turnaround were completed. Curbing, turf establishment, and tree planting were also included in the scope of work. Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, Inc. is one of the largest horticultural brokers and suppliers in the nation. Headquartered in Tewksbury, MA with 15 locations across the country, the company is committed to providing quality products and great service to its customers. This was Erland’s first time partnering with Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, Inc.
