With a 6-month fast-track construction schedule, Erland committed three construction crews to simultaneously manage components of this fit-up project so Avid (provider of audio and video technology) could move to its new world headquarters -- three buildings in two neighboring Burlington office parks. We worked for both the landlord and the tenant. 75 Network Drive, their main office, features a lobby, conference and training areas, and executive offices. The second and third floors of 65 Network Drive were transformed into engineering and technical lab space, cooling-intensive uses requiring a new chiller plant. To smooth start-up of the chiller plant, Erland traveled to the manufacturing site to witness a “dry-run” of assembly and start-up before the system was dismantled for shipment to Burlington. We constructed a 143lf long enclosed pedestrian bridge to provide all-weather access between 65 and 75 Network Drive. Renovations to 10 North Avenue in Northwest Park created a warehouse with loading dock. Erland constructed a connecting road between North Avenue and Network Drive.
