Careers at Erland.

Atiya Rahim

Assistant Project Manager

What I like about working at Erland is the culture here. We work hard but we also have fun!”

Mike Wilson

Project Superintendent

In 2008 I was hired for a field supervisor position, career wise, I am progressing exactly where I want to be. I moved on from a field supervisor position to a project superintendent. Eventually, I really want to move on to a senior superintendent or even a general superintendent role. I've got another 15 years in me to get all that done. With the support of my colleagues here at Erland, I know that's possible.”

At Erland, our people are the drivers of our success. We empower, equip, and encourage our employees so they grow into the strongest construction professionals they can be. We’ve built a culture of constant development and opportunity that supports each person at every stage of their career. Erland provides continuing education opportunities based on individual aspirations and offers promotions both within and across teams so people can follow their passions and remain a valuable asset to the company.

Team Building.

The Fall Brawl is an annual competition made up of a series of office/team building games. Previous challenges included Chair Curling, Egg Toss, and Pantyhose Bowling. Only one team can take home the bragging rights and coveted championship trophy!

Every spring, Erland employees come together for a night of dinner and dancing. The event recognizes the hard-work and dedication of our team members and allows our field and office employees to engage outside of regular work hours.

We don’t just celebrate the holidays, we bring them to life. Our office teams kick off the celebration with a decorating contest. In past years, teams have built life-size gingerbread houses, reenacted How the Grinch Stole Christmas and paid homage to holiday classics like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”. After the contest, the teams wrap up the celebration with a luncheon.

Erland recruits from several New England colleges with a concentration in construction management and related engineering programs. We also team with institutions such as Wentworth Institute of Technology and Springfield College to offer scholarships for students majoring in these fields. Upon graduating one of these colleges, your strong construction or engineering knowledge is immediately applicable to the work that you will be doing here – be it in project management, field operations, preconstruction, or estimating. Our construction projects will challenge you and continue to build your knowledge as you immerse yourself in the Erland culture of community involvement, building excellence, and superior client satisfaction.

Erland believes in a culture of diversity and inclusion which makes us more effective in serving our clients, developing our employees, and strengthening our communities. We recognize the value that employees' individual differences and perspectives contribute to the success and growth of our company. We promote an environment that embraces collaboration, innovation, and service. Leveraging the power of diversity supports our open shop market leadership - now and into the future.

At Erland, we value your hard-work, unwavering integrity and commitment to building excellence and client satisfaction. In return for your service, we offer a complete benefits package to support your life and well-being including: 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match, Annual Bonus, Vacation and Sick/Personal Days, Paid Holidays, Health Insurance, Health Reimbursement Account, Flexible Spending Account, Dental Reimbursement, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Voluntary Benefits with Colonial Life and Davis Vision, Education Assistance, Company Phone, and Employee Referral Program.
